The vesicle transport mechanic actually made me understand the Golgi apparatus for the first time since high school biology. Turns out a game where you're building enzymes and organelles can be genuinely fun, not just educational. The Dice Tower seal on the box is well earned.

I picked this up to help my kids visualize cell processes, and building proteins from the organelle cards actually clicked for them. The science is accurate enough that my wife, who teaches biology, didn't roll her eyes once.

The enzyme and organelle cards force you to think several turns ahead, and I love that the science is actually woven into the mechanics instead of just slapped on the box. Played it twice with my biochem friends and we were all double-checking the pathways by the end.
