The pick-and-pass drafting keeps everyone at the table engaged instead of waiting for their turn, which is rare for a family game. My 9-year-old picked up the habitat matching faster than I did, and we've played four nights in a row now.

Bought this to get my kids off screens for an evening and we ended up playing four rounds straight. The card-drafting is simple enough for my 8-year-old but the habitat and biodiversity combos still make me think. Artwork on the animal cards is lovely too.

The pick-and-pass mechanic keeps everyone engaged even between turns, and I love how the habitat cards force you to balance short-term points against building a bigger ecosystem. We've played it three nights in a row now, and each game feels totally different.
